The band also appear alongside Jessica Bailiff (Eau Claire), Flowchart, Stars As Eyes and many other exciting artists on The Speed By Which We Fall, the first compilation from Rollerderby Records, the label run by Eau Claire’s Rachel Staggs. http://www.airformation.com CLAIRE’S ECHO Vinyl aficionados take note! Claire's Echo, the newly-launched limited-vinyl-only subsidiary of Clairecords, is thrilled to announce its inaugural issuances! Each release will be pressed in an edition of 300 copies only, no more no less, never to be repressed. 100 copies will be on 180-gram colored vinyl, 200 on heavyweight 180-gram audiophile black vinyl. Claire’s Echo’s debut offerings (Parisian dreampop fivesome Acetate Zero and Sacramento indiepopsters St. Avalanche) will surface at the end of January, and subsequent installments will feature Park Avenue Music, Japanther, Electro Group and Astrobrite among other exciting artists. At least 50% to 100% of the music on each release will be exclusive. Claire's Echo is now offering limited subscriptions for six records at a time; as subscriptions are going fast time is of the essence if you’re interested in securing one. Monster Movie’s third full-length has not only been completed, but titled too! For Christian Savill and Sean Hewson, All Lost “ seems to be in celebration of the things we can rely on – The Moon, The Seasons, Nature – but also about escaping from the things we can’t rely on – the hollow, stupid, lazy, modern world.” Among the selections on this round of shoegaze goodness are an “electronic folk song to the Moon with a bit of Simon & Garfunkel” and an “inept night-time piano ballad.” Recorded in beautiful Western-Super-Mare, England (where Slowdive’s landmark “Souvlaki” LP was created), All Lost also reunites Christian and Sean with Martin Nichols, who engineered Monster Movie’s first two outings.
